Big Brother Graduate

Well this past weekend Drew got to graduate from good ol' BYU.  I am really glad that he finished after 15 years so he can finally start his life.  But for real, even though the campus consists of about 35,000 people they all somehow knew Drew because he has been here forever for one and two he has been in almost prereq classes for most majors (just kidding Drew ;) ) Anyways,  I was fortunate enough to be a apart of this special moment for Drew and Jess so just congratulations on graduation and for finding a job and good luck!  I appreciate everything you have done for me in this year I was here, it has made the transition from BYU a little easier, thank you for the mooching off of you when I was starving and just for the random invites to spend the night when I needed an escape from single housing.  I will miss both of you, Drew and Jess, but glad that we got to spend some time together making memories out here in Utah, thanks again!

Time Flies When You're Having Fun

This weekend Zachary I got to celebrate our 6 month anniversary! To those who have been married for years that may not seem like such a huge feat, but we did do all 6 months long distance and realized we like one another more every day we get to be together.  Well we each planned something for the other and Zach had Friday and I had Saturday.  For Friday Zachary bought us tickets to go see the Jazz play and it was so much fun!!! Those men are so big, Zach made the comment that it must be really hard to play being that big because the ball is so small, it would be equal to playing a high soccer game with a size 3 ball.  But anyways it was really fun!

On Saturday I made Zachary his favorite dinner, (thanks to my mom for the idea and his mom for the meal and help to cook it)  It was the first time I had ever cooked an actual meal, with sides and a main dish, but it turned out really well (Zachary said so) and so I do not think I am such a bad cook.=)

Well time really does fly when you are having fun, I cannot believe that we have be dating for 6 months already and have known each other for 2 years.  He really is my best friend.

Conference...or the attempt of...

So some weeks ago I asked for tickets to Conference and I was so excited to go! Zachary, Lisa, Emilie and I were all going to go the Sunday morning session but unfortunately a series of unfortunate events happened that resulted in us not being able to go (thank you so much momma for the effort of the tickets however). But first thing is Lisa decided not to go to spend more time with Christie up in daybreak, Emilie got sick on Saturday night and was not able to go so the end result was that we did not end up going unfortunately this time, but perhaps before we leave Utah it can be crossed off my bucket list, again thank you so much momma for your effort to get us those tickets.

So instead after Zach took care of Em, we decided to spend the second session of conference with his old mission companion Marcus, his wife Callie and Marcus's parents.  We had a delicious dinner and all settled in for conference ( a very good session, my favorite talk was in the Sunday morning session, but I enjoyed the afternoon ones still.)

We are on Google earth, so we are not being distracted by a game, it is pretty easy to listen and surf Google earth at the same time =)

Model

About 2 weeks ago at work one of my coworkers asked me to be his model for one of his school projects, I think he is animation major and his project were fears, so he depicted different fears and I was the fear of seeing someone in the mirror staring back at you.  Well when I took the picture I just had to make a creepy face with my hair in front of me, but he took it to a WHOLE 'nother level, so this is the result....creepy huh?
