February 2018

February was filled with pleasant and severely less than pleasant experiences.
First unpleasant,
Beckham got so sick one night, throwing up multiple times. We were hoping it was simply a food poisonig thing and not a stomach bug thing, but the next day both Zach and I got it so we spent our Valentine's Day taking turns taking care of Beckham between our own escapade of the rotavirus.

Day 1: Beckham has it

Day 2: Mom gets it and Beckham still had it

Day 4: Recovery for all (day 3 didnt get any pictures as we were all very sick)

Now that was the only really unpleasant things that happened during February, so onto the pleasantries.
Zach and I had met a couple in our ward who were around our age so we had them over for dinner a couple times. On the second time we were telling Colby and Dallin (the couple) that we were looking for an adventure to do for our 5 year anniversary. We told them we were considering Europe, a cruise, a resort in Mexico or Jamaica and then they told us they were headed to Hawaii for some of March to their time share and invited us along. Well with an enticement of Hawaii and not having to pay for a place to stay it made the decision simple.
We booked our flight for March 2 to March 8th and spent the rest of February having fun with our baby and one another while anxiously awaiting our trip.

New Year!

2018! Can you all believe it...I certainly find myself wondering what happened to the last almost decade. (For some reason, I always put the starting point of my "life" as starting after I graduated high school) so it has been almost a whole decade since that event in my life and it is just crazy! Thinking back about the last 8 years and what has happened all in that, got married, college graduate, had a baby, moved a few times, ect. It is so crazy and wonderful!!

I don't have much of title for this blog other than retrospect at how quickly life goes. Simply put I love my life, I love my husband and I love my sweet boy. The last almost decade has provided me the most important things in my life. I surely am blessed and as each year goes by, no matter whether filled with smiles or trials or a little mixture of both, as most are, I find I am more and more blessed. So here are to the next almost decades.

Moments from January:

First movie experience, where we actually paid for him. "Coco" was a success!

Also at the end of January we were finally able to get family pictures done.
