May 2019

Zach always knew that a move from the smaller MICU at Duke Raleigh to a larger SICU or CTICU was imminent for grad school applications. So we he started to outgrow Duke Raleigh and after a few unfortunate events happened back to back in North Carolina we decided to apply out of state. Zach got an interview in Maryland, Florida (a couple), Texas and Chapel Hill. Well after some deliberation we felt Florida was a good place to start.
Zach flew down to interview at Tampa General Hospital and voila, we are now headed to Tampa for the next few years.
I am really sad to be leaving Raleigh. I enjoy being close to family. I love my little neighborhood, I have a wonderful ward and have made some good friends. But alas we are in a transition period in our life. Nothing is permanent and we are still working towards a grad school goal for Zach. So we go where the wind blows opportunities to achieve that. We do feel like we are supposed to be in Florida, but regardless it is going to be a hard move come end of June.
Zach and I's motto since before we got married has always been "adventure is out there" (courtesy from "UP").
So onwards to new adventures and trying to maintain good attitudes during hard moves! (Especially 5 months pregnant).

But after we found that out at the beginning of the month we just hung out the rest of it.

April 2019

April was spent similarly to March...On a couch throwing up, but Zach did come down early in April and got Beckham and I. While I was so glad to have him back in my life it was hard going back home knowing I did not have Mimi and Papa to help.
The house became a mess and most meals were eaten out, but with help from Gigi and Papa we were able survive the month.
Even Beckham had to help poor momma out.

Preggy pops....nothing worked though these helped with bad taste in my mouth and the increase saliva

Lots of snuggles and ALOT of movies were watched

Mostly I watched the Masters

But Finally as the month neared its end the puking subsided some and I could go "out" occasionally (which was me laying around at the park) And once even I ate something other than cheerios.

And then I FINALLY got to see the wee one, which makes it all little more worth it.

And thankfully the Easter Bunny has access to amazon and still came this year bringing Spider-man gear, trains and a flashlight. (Unfortunately because of all the morning sickness Beckham's nighttime potty training hit a huge regression (he was stressed most of the time for me, even once yelling at me to go to the doctor for a band aid) and so hence just the clean dry underwear in the picture)

March 2019

Mom and Dad came up at the end of February to help out with the grandparents and since they were there Beckham and I decided to go back to Atlanta for two weeks to hang out with them (two weeks turned into a month and a half) Well thank goodness we did because about three days later morning sickness came in full strength so much of March, April and May were spent laying on a couch and puking. I have not thrown up now, as I write this in June,  for about two weeks which is fantastic. I still get nauseous if I don't take my medicine at night so I stay on that regularly, but glad to be out of the worst of it. I still cannot cook most of anything or anything requiring boiling water...turns out that has a terrible smell..so most of our meals are thanks to Zach.

Anyways back to March 2019.

The pictures are not that great which I apologize for and are taken mainly from my only point of view, which was always from a couch or bed. (Getting a baby here is hard work)

Morning sickness in full swing...so pretty I know

Parenting fail, he fell asleep with scissors...

Thank goodness for Mimi snuggles as mom snuggles were out of commision

On the days where the nausea subsided briefly we would go the park.
Thank goodness for Mimi and Papa, I cannot stress it enough that we would not have made it without them. They entertained Beckham, kept him clean and fed and safe, and made sure I was taken care of as well allowing Zach to work still. Thank you a million times over.

February 2019

We spent most our days lounging about because it was cold outside but we did manage to do a couple of new and fun things.

Reading our new shark books (Thanks Papa and Mimi), playing with trains, and watching movies.

Worked on some knitting projects with my ladies at the shop. (Hat on left, Cardigan on right)

And lastly, but certainly not least we found out we are expecting a new wee one in November.

Other fun moments:
