Little Dog

Honestly there isn't that much to blog about here in cold Rexburg. Zach and I lead very predictable lifes right now that mainly consists of school, work, church, soccer (for Zach)...and...well, yup that is about it. But this past weekend our friends were watching someones puppy and let me borrow it for a few minutes.

Big fluffy Farley was afraid of the teacup Chihuahua.

Holidays!

So I did go back and reread my posts where I was on the pain killers, and yes they are quite horribly written, but to save how terrible they are I am going to keep them the way they are.
Anyways, so this year was the first year that Zach and I spent Christmas just with one another and no family. We did this for a couple reasons, first that plane tickets back east were about $1000 round trip for the the both of us and second I had surgery the day after school got out, so with those two factors swaying us we just decided to stay put in Rexburg, Idaho.
We didn't do much, mostly because two days into our vacation our car's starter stopped starting s we were stranded in the house because I couldn't walk anywhere. But we didn't mind, it is always nice to have a good long break after finals.

But Christmas Eve came and Zach wanted to open the presents so much that instead of opening one present that evening, we opened our Christmas pj's at 9am on Christmas Eve.

I told him we couldn't open the gifts until the evening

Changed my mind =)
Farley's Christmas Eve gift

Farley's little tongue is out, if you can see, because Farley's Christmas Eve gift was a new treat

That night we watched Christmas Vacation.
Most quoted scene in the Barnes family =)

And then earlier than I wanted and earlier than I have ever woken up for Christmas in my life, Zach woke me up at 5:30am on Christmas morning...

So excited on Christmas!

Zach's reaction to opening his XBOX 1

Farley loved the wrapping paper and the Christmas ornaments that had fallen, and Zach's socks

It was a good Christmas =)

New Year's Eve:
Well on New Year's Eve we went and saw "The Hobbit" (and yes I did cry), but after seeing it we really wanted to watch Lord of the Rings, so we did and we fell asleep at 9:30pm...very epic Christmas eve.
