Stop this Train.

I cannot even believe that a year has gone by so fast! I can remember really well just to a year ago what happened on this day.  I'll recap, I woke up (I was currently living on the extremely comfy futon(thanks to Jessica) at Drew and Jessie's as I waited for my final semester at BYU-Idaho to start) and had Etta take me to Saratoga Spring where she took me shopping and bought me a shirt and then to the doctor where he told me I had retorn my meniscus and would in fact need surgery in December.  Then I went out to lunch with her to Mimi's Cafe and then back to BYU campus where I met up with Jordan and hung out with him and his roomies for the rest of the evening.
It was a good birthday.  Now this year, definitely a little bit different, but still good.  I went to work at 8am to 11am, then found out I got the new job as a seamstress.  Then to class and then to my first open lab (holy mother of earth anatomy is going to be hard).  Then I went shopping with Meagan and bought a shirt and then afterwards Drew and Jess took us out to Brick Oven then back to their new place where we watched the game and the Republican convention and had delicious  vegan cupcakes.  I just cannot  believe that a year has flown by, there was no way that I would think I would be attending BYU just a year ago and that I would be enrolled in Anatomy.  I am so grateful to friends and family who made the birthday a great one, even though I am far away from home.

Turning 21 is weird because even though I keep getting older, I still feel like the young girl playing soccer, getting dirty by playin outside all day, poking fish guts, ect.  I just do not feel as old as I am... aging is going to be a weird experience and I do not know if I like the whole idea of getting older, "I am too good at being young."  Here is a song by John Mayer that expresses getting older and kind of the fear and unsureity of it as a young person.

Here are some of the gifts I recieved from friends and Drew and Jess.
Jessies side of the gift, with enviormentally friendly grocery bags, smiths gift card and a card and then there is drew's contribution to the gift....
