We finally made it to North Carolina! When Zach and I first were married we always talked about where we wanted to end up and North Carolina was always at the top of the list. For a myriad of reasons, some being that it is half way between Georgia and New Jersey, it's not too far from an ocean, it has a ton of grad school options, and ect. We are so blessed that we can actually be here.
Zach is loving the ICU, he is learning a ton and loves helping people. Nursing is a wonderful profession. Plus I love that he only work 3 or 4 days a week. Meaning Beckham and I get to see him a ton!
I am loving being back East. Utah and Idaho are beautiful and wonderful, but it never felt quite like home. Perhaps due to the mountains that we lack here or perhaps the West's own lack of dense green forests in the valley. I am just happy to be in familiar surroundings again while also being close to family.
Beckham is happy wherever we go, as long as he has Mom and Dad close by (and food and a pacifier).
