Atlanta

The past 9 months have had their fair share of challenges for Zach and I but they have also included so many tender mercies. I was able to have my baby where my mom could help so much! And honestly, this is no exaggeration, I do not think I could have done it without her help. I had a hard time transitioning to motherhood so I am glad that we were here  in Atlanta during that time. I learned how to be comfortable with the newest addition to my family.
It also allowed Zach time to study and be home with Beckham and me, I also learned how to cook better! ( I have never been a very good cook, but I do have a good amount of recipes now that I feel I can make well).
So again while I am excited to start this new chapter in my life, it will not continue with all happy feelings. I will miss being here. I will miss having my mom and dad so close. I will miss watching them interact with Beckham and get to know him better. I am excited to move, but I am also so sad to leave. I find that most of life's changes are not so black or white, they are mostly in the grey zone and are bitter sweet.
But I cannot even begin to express the appreciation and gratitude to my parents and all they have done (which is an insurmountable amount) for my little family the last 9 months, so I guess a blog and a thank you will have to suffice (and perhaps a super nice dinner, our treat, next time you come up to Raleigh.)

(Note: The pictures are in no particular order).

Nothing like watching Roar with Papa

Also some quality time with Aunt Katie and Cameron-who he is not a fan of.
