1. Documenting things is good,
2. I have never done pregnancy before so it is all new and exciting and,
3. It'll be fun to have it remembered.
So I hope you can all continue to enjoy my blog as I document my remaining 6 months.
First Trimester: I MADE it....oh my goodness. What a miserable 6 weeks I went through (though I cant complain too much because many women feel terrible for so much longer).
I told my mom that I was pregnant around 4 weeks and around 6 ish I told her that I did not feel pregnant because I wasn't having any of the tell tell signs besides sore bosoms and exhaustion, but I should have kept my mouth shut because by week 7 the morning, afternoon, and evening sickness came and did not stop till week 13.
I didn't think I was going to make it through finals, let alone the entire day. But with the constant comfort of Zach and one very teary, tired, and sick of being sick phone call to my mom I did make it through. I have not thrown up now for about a week. It has been amazing. The exhaustion still exists, but I am grateful for that ailment.
I am finally starting to eat healthy as well. My first trimester consisted of mainly poptarts and gatorade, the only two things that would stay down much to my own horror. But this past week I have been slowly integrating good foods into my diet. I eat about half a cantaloupe or pineapple a day which makes me feel so much better. I am also exercising daily, though at a slow pace and even less intensity. I am also finally back at work and school and while I am happy to be at work, I am anxious to be done with school, but 12 weeks and counting to graduation!
I just recently had my second appointment, the one where I get to hear the heart beat of my little bean. So cute! It was absolutely amazing and very fun to hear. My doctor also confirmed that I am indeed starting to show, even though it is a little, I feel huge! I can only imagine how I will feel at week 30...
Also something fun I would like to include is my own personal stats, again you don't have to read these, but it is fun for me to compare as little bean and I go along in this journey.
My weight: 136 lbs.
First Appointment (9 weeks 4 days) stats:
Baby heart beat: 180
My weight 130 lbs.
Second Appointment ( 13 weeks 3 days) stats:
Baby heart beat: 158
My weight: 127 lbs.
My bp: 101/62
Non baby talk! My boss brought over a new little toy for Farley because her cats were not playing with it, Farley loved it! He played with it for about an hour straight.
