Last Move, and other Things

Again I apologize for the space between posts, but life is a little hectic. Which I realize I can't complain about that too much because among my siblings my life is probably the least hectic of all!

But Zach and I decided to move from New Jersey and back to Atlanta because of Insurance reasons so while we were sad to leave Zach's parents it has been good to be here in Atlanta.  So here are some pictures of the trip and just a few of actually being in Atlanta
DC Temple on our Trek South

Zach finally getting into the true Southern Spirit

Doesn't get any more "white trash" than this.

Emilie sent us this picture. We were at our friends wedding about a year ago, I used to be skinny!

Papa playing with half naked babies.

So while the pictures aren't great and there has not been that much going on I still feel like I have so much to do! I am only 3 days away from being considered full term so Beckham needs to stay in a little bit longer than now.  I am perfectly ok with him coming at any time but I know for lots of reasons why it would be best if he stayed snug and cozy on the inside for a few more weeks. Zach and I set up the crib in our room and we are beyond anxious to meet our little man.

Catch up

I feel like the last few months for most of us has just flown by, so like Lisa I am just going to have a little catch up blog to get things back to current times. Though I cant imagine how much more downtime I will have when I have Beckham compared to now...but I will do my best!

Zachs Birthday and Graduation:
Randomly I got to pet a baby ducky on Zachary's birthday

Graduation: July 23, 2015
I am a college graduate. I always thought it would be pretty boring to have to graduate again, I mean who really enjoys graduation...? But when my full name, Lori Anne Barnes Pasche, was read ( I started school as Lori Anne Barnes and finished as Lori Barnes Pasche, so I though it only fair to give credit to my entire name) and I walked across the stage to get my diploma I was so excited and felt so accomplished. While it was just my Bachelors, I still put in many hours of studying for Kinesology, Anat & Phys among other hard classes, so as I walked closer to my diploma I felt more proud of myself.
So Congratulations to me =)
Finally, no more assignments!

Pack Up and Goodbye Out West:
The next few days were a complete blur as we had to completely pack up, clean and drive down to Utah to drop me off at the airport and so Mr. Roland and Zach could make the long drive back across the county.  But we made one last effort to enjoy the things out west before we left, one being Yellowstone.

Not the Ol' Faithful, but a very pretty hot spring

Zach enjoying watching the paint pots. There are more pictures, but they are currently on Mr. Roland's camera and Emilie's so Ill post them when I get them
Another thing I did was spend my last few hours in the sewing shop finishing up some last minute projects while I had easy access to industrial machines and every thread color imaginable
My work station

My project board
Julie was very sad to see us go, as I was her. I can honestly say that the two things I will miss the most about being in Rexburg is one working at the costume shop and two, Mrs. Julie. She is an amazing person, I mean how many bosses do you know will come over to your house and do your dirty laundry for you while you are terribly morning sick? I only know of one and that is just one of COUNTLESS things she has done and taught me. I will miss her.
She fed Zach and I dinner while we were packing up our own home.

I wasn't really that sad to leave Rexburg, while I enjoyed my time there I guess I just felt like it was time to move on.
JAM packed

Poor Farley gets car sick

Leaving Utah:
So finally we get to Utah and wouldn't you know about 4 hours at our friends house I go in the garage to check on Farley and the dumb ol' cat has ran away, or so we thought. We all spent the next two hours looking for him as I drew closer and closer to tears, when finally it is too dark to look. I only hoped that he showed up again before we left at 5am the following morning.  Well the morning came and no Farley so we left him behind. I was so sad, he really was the best cat! I can't seem to get out of Utah with a cat: Milo died and Farley ran away so I am 0/2 so far. But anyways, so Zach and Roland head out and about 12 hours into their trip they get a call saying that Farley was in the garage fast asleep in a box...
Well Zach was too far away to go back and I was in the air so we left our beloved little fluffy friend behind. But we are so grateful because even though our friend HATES cats he kept Farley for an entire month and a half before they finally found him a good home this week with a nice family in their ward. So Farley has a new home with two new little girls to love him.
It was a really hot night one night so this is where he chose to lay, I will miss him. He is a great cat!
Well I finally said goodbye to out west for who knows how long
Goodbye Utah
and landed in Baltimore. Originally I was only suppose to be in Baltimore for an hour but it ended up being 8 hours because of delays....
FINALLY on the plane....
Atlanta:

Reunited and in NJ:
Then after what felt like way too long Zach and I were reunited when I flew up to Philadelphia to see him.  I hate being away from him, so I was anxious to be reunited.

NJ Mini Golf, Mr. Roland won!
Birthday and Anniversary:
We were also able to celebrate both my birthday and our 2 year anniversary in NJ!
Beautiful diaper bag

My anniversary gift to Zach

Bracelets that he wears instead of a ring

A live lobster for dinner that night!!
I think it really freaked him out when he put his hands on it because he did not know what it was

I love him so much

So after a few weeks here we found out that the insurance was creating a lot of issues so after some thought we have officially decided to head back to Georgia to have this little baby.  While we are sad to leave NJ it will be good to have the baby somewhere where we can afford.
Passed my Glucose test...so that stuff was really gross to drink

Gender Reveal!

Zach and I went to our fourth appointment yesterday, finally! That was the longest 3 weeks ever. It was the ultrasound that we got to know if our little apple had a stem or not .   But before I get into that I have to tell you about the appointment itself.

I woke up around 7, even though my appointment wasn't till 9, I was too anxious to sleep so I did some laundry, homework and just straightened up and then finally it was time to get Zach up. We got to the doctors and were called back into the room.

The gel that they put on your stomach is freezing! But it was way worth it because the last time we got to see our little bean was when it was literally the size of a bean and the moment was surreal. We got to see its little legs, its feet and all 10 toes (whew!). We got to see its heart beating and we got to see it move around as the ultrasound tech chased it around my belly. My little bean did not like the ultrasound Doppler pushing on it, so mostly little bean swam around trying to dodge the pressure which made for an interesting game of cat and mouse.

There were no abnormalities on our little beans ultrasound which we are so grateful for and then came the time for the gender. She asked us if we wanted to know and we said that we did, so she went over little beans legs but then little bean moved and we both thought we saw girl but then the ultrasound tech was able to focus on and he was most definitely not a girl!

So we are happy to announce that little bean can finally have a gender specific name of he =)
We are beyond ecstatic. I always felt that he was a he, even when I would say she it felt off, supposedly there was some thing I was reading that was saying that if the mother has no preference for the gender of her child her intuition is 87.5% right, the fathers is 50% right (duh, everyone is 50 % right) and the grandmother (mom of the daughter) is 25% right, so intuition was correct!

Here are everyone else's guesses:

Our little countdown to when we got to go and find out if he was a she or he

Papa and Jill both guessed girl, I just put them on the wrong side...I was bored in one of my classes one day thus this piece of informational paper was born

Zach taking off the last ring as we we head to our appointment!

After the appointment we called my parents and his parents and told my parents because his parents just wanted to wait till later that evening when we did a gender reveal with our friends. For those who don't know what that is, it is just a party thing that lets people know what the gender is of your child. There are tons of ways to go about it, from paint to silly string to cupcakes to balloons. We choose the balloon route.

Sorry for the shakiness of the camera and the angle, I was trying to get as many people as I could in the shot, but it just kind came out with Em in the middle ! But you can still the see the effect of the balloons popping and the gender confetti spilling out!

Our little angel, he is so stinkin' cute! I cannot get over it and I admit that I look at this ultrasound picture at least 500 times a day.

Emilie is so happy to be "Auntie Em"

It was fun to have everyone come over and celebrate with us and it was fun to have my family and Zach's parents over Skype to see this fun little celebration too.

I really cannot wait to meet my little guy, granted I am so nervous! But I am so excited too, I know this little guy was sent to Zach and I for a reason and that thought calms my nerves because if Heavenly Father trust me then I know I can trust myself to be the momma he needs me to be .

Non Baby Talk:
This weekend Zach and I were able to go and participate in a ward camp out. It was so fun but a terrible nights rest. For starters our friend lent us a "two person tent" no no no, maybe if both people were toddlers, so we were extra snuggly that night. Second it is hard enough sleeping in a bed right now and getting comfortable and while I had a memory foam mattress topper to sleep on the night was a very restless one of tossing and turning trying to get comfortable, but overall it was fun to go.

We are the only ones kneeling on the ground
We are on the far right side

Farley of course has to be in my post. So Zach and I were outside playing soccer the other day, or really we were just kicking the ball back and forth and Farley was outside watching and one time I chipped it up and Farley went running after it, it was the weirdest thing I had ever seen so of course we took a video of our cat playing soccer

After Zach and I are gone all day Farley always comes up and snuggles, poor little neglected guy.

And lastly I made these onesies at work this week, the bunny one is for my friend, she is having a little girl the day after me and the fox one is for our little guy.
